TAXITIME SWEDEN – Passenger and Transport Conditions

These Conditions of Transport outline the rights, responsibilities, and obligations of passengers and drivers when using the taxi services provided via TAXITIME SWEDEN’s platforms, including the website, mobile application, and call center.
By using our taxi services, you agree to comply with these Conditions. If you do not agree, you must refrain from using our services. TAXITIME SWEDEN reserves the right to update these Conditions at any time, with changes becoming effective upon publication.
Passengers must adhere to the following rules while using TAXITIME SWEDEN services:
Booking Accuracy: Passengers must provide correct pickup/drop-off locations, contact information, and preferred payment methods.
Punctuality: Passengers must be present at the agreed pickup location at the scheduled time. Drivers will wait up to 5 minutes before marking the passenger as a no-show.
Behavior: Passengers must behave appropriately and respect drivers, vehicles, and fellow passengers. Disruptive, offensive, or aggressive behavior is strictly prohibited.
Seatbelt Requirement: All passengers must wear seatbelts at all times in compliance with Swedish road safety laws.
Smoking & Alcohol: Smoking and the consumption of alcohol or illegal substances inside the taxi is strictly forbidden.
Property & Luggage: Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings. TAXITIME SWEDEN is not liable for lost or damaged items left in vehicles.
Service Animals & Pets: Service animals are permitted. Non-service pets are allowed only if pre-approved by the driver.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in ride termination, service bans, or legal consequences.
Drivers operating through TAXITIME SWEDEN must adhere to the following obligations:
Licensing & Insurance: Drivers must have valid taxi licenses, insurance, and vehicle permits as per Swedish law.
Professional Conduct: Drivers must be courteous, follow traffic laws, and ensure passenger safety.
Vehicle Cleanliness & Safety: Vehicles must be kept clean, safe, and in roadworthy condition.
No Discrimination: Drivers must not discriminate based on race, gender, nationality, disability, or other protected attributes.
No Overcharging: Drivers must follow the pricing structure agreed upon at the time of booking. Any unauthorized fare modifications are prohibited.
Cancellation & Waiting Time: Drivers must wait at the pickup point for at least 5 minutes before marking a passenger as a no-show.
Ride Refusals: Drivers may refuse rides if the passenger is intoxicated, carrying prohibited items, or behaving in a threatening manner.
A booking confirmation is sent once a driver has accepted the ride request.
Estimated arrival times are subject to real-time conditions such as traffic and weather.
Passengers must confirm their availability at the pickup location to prevent cancellation fees.
Free Cancellation: Passengers can cancel bookings before a driver is dispatched.
Late Cancellation: If a driver is en route and the passenger cancels, a cancellation fee may apply.
No-Show Fee: If a passenger is not at the pickup location within 5 minutes of driver arrival, a no-show fee equivalent to the base fare may be charged.
Drivers may cancel trips due to safety concerns, incorrect booking details, or passenger misconduct.
In such cases, passengers will not be charged cancellation fees.
Refunds are issued for overcharges, duplicate transactions, or service disruptions.
Refunds do not apply if the passenger fails to comply with service rules.
All refund requests must be submitted to info@taxitime.se within 7 days of the ride.
TAXITIME SWEDEN prioritizes safety and enforces the following policies:
Zero Tolerance for Violence & Abuse: Any form of verbal or physical abuse by passengers or drivers will lead to immediate service suspension and legal action if necessary.
Alcohol & Drug Policy: Drivers and passengers must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during service.
Emergency Procedures: In case of an emergency, drivers must contact emergency services (112) and report incidents to TAXITIME SWEDEN Support.
Unauthorized Stops & Route Deviations: Drivers must adhere to the agreed-upon route unless safety or legal regulations require a change.
6.1 TAXITIME SWEDEN’s Liability
TAXITIME SWEDEN acts as a facilitator and is not liable for incidents occurring during a ride, including accidents, delays, or lost items.
We do not guarantee vehicle availability at all times due to external factors such as high demand or road conditions.
6.2 Passenger Liability
Passengers are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle (e.g., spills, vandalism) and may be charged repair/cleaning fees.
Passengers must comply with all local laws and transport regulations.
These Conditions are governed by the laws of Sweden.
Any disputes shall first be addressed through negotiation and mediation.
If unresolved, disputes shall be handled in the Swedish Courts.
